Multiple Language Support is a tool for localization, allowing you to manage and display your training content to your viewers in the language they prefer to ensure optimal viewer engagement and comprehension. It also increases the discoverability of your content on search engines with metadata and transcription available in multiple languages.
How It Works
Enable Multiple Language Support for the Tube Site
- Go to Settings > General > Supported Languages.
- Enable the feature by moving the toggle bar to the right.
- Select the language(s) you want your site to be available in by simply clicking on the language name from the dropdown.
- Click Save once you are done.
Add Asset Titles & Descriptions in Other Languages
- Choose an asset to which you want to make titles and descriptions available in other languages.
- Click on the Editor icon to open the Asset Editor.
- Navigate to Translations.
- Select a language from the dropdown menu to add the titles and descriptions in the selected language.
- Click Save to record the changes.
Translation option will only show up in the Editor if you have the Multiple Language Support feature enabled.
Browse & Search the Tube Site in Multiple Languages
- Select a language from the dropdown list.
- The Tube site will be localized to the selected language.
- Users can search for assets in the selected language.
